Tom Peters completed his undergraduate degree at Fordham University and his law degree at the University of Oregon. Since 2005, he has practiced DUI law, focusing on driving offenses, Operation of a Vessel Under the Influence (BUI), Drug Possession, Drug Distribution and related charges as well as civil litigation. Tom is licensed by the Washington State Bar and the Wyoming State Bar, and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for Wyoming and Western Washington. Tom zealously defends his clients and their rights under the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments. An active advocate in the Clemency Project 2014, he has dedicated years of his life to pro bono cases, writing federal clemency petitions and has served as a member of the United States Department of Justice Clemency Project screening committee, which sought the release of nonviolent federal prisoners who have served at least ten years, restoring the lives of many unfairly incarcerated individuals who were granted a second chance under the sentencing guidelines of President Barak Obama.
