“High” Means Intoxicated When It Comes To Driving

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.- A man pulled over in in the Spokane area was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit and weaving in and out of his lane. He allegedly told the police that he had one beer and smoked marijuana prior to driving. Deputies said that the man repeatedly told them that marijuana was legal and that he was “high” and not intoxicated. The man also allegedly told the sheriffs that while he did not know that you could get a DUI for marijuana. Under the law in Washington, both alcohol and marijuana are legal, and you can get a DUI if you are found to be impaired under the law by either of them. (Click here to read more)
